Our 30000 series consists of polyvinyl chloride foam products, available in a variety of densities.
The main feature of these products is their ability to seal for long periods of time. When compressed at a 30% minimum, they completely seal against air, light, moisture and dust. These products can absorb shock and vibration, and can be used as thermal, electrical and noise insulation. The composition of this product is intrinsically fire and ultraviolet resistant; it is also resistant to most chemicals, acids and solvents. PVC foams are flexible, resilient and easily compressible, and they maintain their physical properties at service temperatures ranging from–40°F to200°F.
Densities available provide a wide range solutions for a great number of applications. The flexibility of a low-density PVC foam allows adequate sealing of irregular surfaces and tight radius curves. Inserted between two surfaces, low density PVC foam constitutes an excellent contact damper. Medium density PVC foam provides better dimensional stability and stronger damping resistance in applications where heavy masses are involved. Higher density foam will provide better vibration reduction performance. The higher the density of a PVC foam, the better it's resistance and useful life.
For most of the densities, UL94 formulations are available upon request.
