42000 Series
Click for larger view

The 42000 series comprises fine closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene foam products.

Cross-linked polyethylene foam products offer very good physical properties. They constitute an economical solution when sponge rubbers are overqualified for a particular application.

These products are attractive, very flexible, and resilient. They can be used in applications where excellent flotation properties, superior resistance to ultraviolet rays, good thermal insulation and noise absorption are required. Cross-linked polyethylene foams are non-toxic. They contain no CFCs, HCFCs or hydrocarbons.

Some of the products in this series are FDA-approved, and UL94-listed.

These products are often used as double-face tape in the door and window industry. Double-face products in our 42000 series come with a silicone or a polyethylene release liner. The choice of the liner is generally related to the application itself or to the preference of the end user.
