The 11000 series comprises high-density open-cell micro-cellular urethane foam. Excellent compression set constitutes the main feature of this type of foam. Micro-cellular urethane foam will not subside upon repeated stress, and parts made in it will keep their shape after assembly. The uniformity and the consistency of its physical properties give this material excellent dimensional stability. Those features make micro-cellular urethane foam an excellent choice for applications where a very high level of dimensional precision is to be achieved. This material is abrasion resistant, has good chemical resistance, and can withstand temperatures as high as 121°C (250°F). It has a high energetic absorption level, and has an attractive appearance.

Those features make micro-cellular urethane foam a versatile material. Applications include vibration supports, engine supports, shock pads, thermal insulation, seals and gaskets.
